Hearing Aid Practitioner - iHear Unicare - Edmonton and Area

 

iHear Unicare is an established family-owned growing chain of full-time hearing aid clinics, currently serving clients in Edmonton East and West, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, and Stony Plain.

We are seeking full-time / part-time Registered Hearing Aid Practitioners (RHAPs) to join our existing team of RHAPs and support staff.

Typical duties include:

  • Performing hearing tests for adult clients followed by explanation of their test results,
  • Hearing consultation services and recommendations for suitable hearing aids,
  • Preparing¬† letters to physicians as well as referral letters,
    Hearing aid fitting and adjustments, and
  • Following up with existing clients on a regular basis with.

The qualifications include:

  • Professional track record dealing with clients, coworkers, management, and hearing aid manufacturers,
  • Sincere, outgoing, and friendly personality, with genuine desire to assist clients with their hearing care needs,
  • A team player aspiring to enhance and promote a positive work environment, and
  • Eligible to register as an AADL Assessor.

Remuneration is highly competitive and usually exceeds compensation from manufacturer-owned as well as privately-owned hearing aid clinics.

Candidates working towards RHAP registration are also encouraged to apply, but will need supervision.
